"The QR code won't scan" — make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi. The QR is shown by the menu-bar app on your Mac (click the airshell icon in the menu bar). If you don't see it there, the Mac app may not be running — re-launch from /Applications.
"It connects on Wi-Fi but not on cellular" — connecting from outside your Wi-Fi requires the Pro subscription (first month free). Check Settings → Subscription in the iPhone app.
"It times out on Wi-Fi" — your Wi-Fi may be a captive portal (hotel, café, airport). Open Safari first and complete the sign-in page, then try again.
"Connection drops mid-session" — sessions are designed to survive brief Wi-Fi drops; you should reconnect automatically within a few seconds. If it's repeated, your iCloud Private Relay setting (Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data → Privacy → Use Private Relay) can occasionally interfere. Disable it if you're seeing persistent drops.
Manage / cancel: iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → airshell. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep access until then.
Free trial: The first month is free. You can cancel before day 30 and Apple won't charge you anything. After the trial, billing is $4.99/month until you cancel.
Refunds: handled by Apple. Request via reportaproblem.apple.com with the airshell purchase.
Restore purchases: in airshell on iPhone, go to Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. This syncs your entitlement from your Apple ID.
See the privacy policy. The short version: we don't read your terminal sessions (we can't — they're end-to-end encrypted), we don't run analytics, we don't sell anything to anyone.
